Federal Circus

fedcirc.us is a new blog dedicated to slow-roasted reviews of federal circuit decisions, hosted by inveterate patent law bloggers Matt Buchanan, Stephen Nipper, and Doug Sorocco. Welcome!

As the fedcirc.us guys put it:

The FedCirc.us portal is built on a foundation of timely, accurate and considered reviews of the patent-related opinions of the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Timeliness, however, does not mean immediacy. We write case reviews after careful consideration of the entire opinion and its impact on the various areas of law to which it pertains.

The practical effect of this approach is that case reviews aren't posted immediately following release of an opinion. Indeed, we're usually a couple weeks behind.

The Patent Prospector and Patently-O consistently cover the same beat shortly after a ruling. Strong on pharma/bio-tech, there's Patent Baristas. Nice to have choices.
