Patent Plasma Sensibility Spasm
In
but a single example of an endless stream, Samsung and Matsushita, the world's
largest plasma screen manufacturers, suffered a litigation meltdown: settling
their dispute over their respective plasma screen patents. Fortunately for the
companies respective lawyers, the two companies continue to bash
each other over semiconductor and memory patents.
It's the way of the corporate world, and a continuing marvel that capitalist crackers are so pathetic with their infantile egos and lack of patience in negotiation that they can't come to cross-licensing agreements without cavorting to the courthouse. Now children...
Then we get these chronically crooked corporate cacks cowering under the banner of Coalition for Patent Fairness, trying to muck up the litigation machinery with statutory madness, while they themselves resort to the same antics when the mood strikes; but as they mostly get repeatedly hammered by small fry for being pathological infringers, the calculation is to stack the litigation deck to make it an even bigger money game. The morons that fill Congress (that would most certainly include you, Senator Leahy) lap up the grift and mouth platitudes in ignorance, with rare exception (e.g. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher).
It's enough to make a self-righteous insider blog. Let me tell you what I really think...
Chock-a-block with litigation business, Patent Hawk thanks you.
